They did nothing to deserve that. So this is built backwards from their side, and the three promises below are what that comes to.

Not on the page you send from, and not on the page they open. It is the one thing the rest of the product is arranged around.

The link expires
Free links live for 7 days, and then the files are deleted — not archived, not kept warm somewhere for later.

You can take it back
Deleting a transfer kills its link immediately, whether or not anybody has downloaded it yet.
