What is SendThis?
SendThis is an ad-free large file sending service for sharing big files and folders by link. Use it to send large files to clients, share big files online with family, and track every transfer from one dashboard. You upload files up to 5 GB each for free (or up to 250 GB on Pro), copy one link, and share it anywhere. Your recipient previews and downloads their files without signing in, and neither of you ever sees an ad.
Is SendThis free?
Yes, SendThis is free to start and needs no card. The Free plan covers files up to 5 GB, 3 transfers a month, 10 GB of uploads in total and links that last up to 3 days. Plus and Pro add more room.
Are there ads on SendThis?
No. SendThis has no ads on any plan, including Free. There are no ads on the page you send from and none on the page the person you send to opens. Their download page shows your message and your files.
Do I or the person receiving my files need an account?
You sign in to send so we can keep your links safe in My transfers, let you track downloads, and let you delete a link if you change your mind. The person receiving your files never needs an account. They just open your link, preview the files, and download. That keeps sharing files online quick for clients who will never create another login.
How large a file can I send for free?
On the Free plan, each file can be up to 5 GB, with 10 GB of uploads in total. Plus raises the limit to 10 GB per file and Pro to 250 GB per file, with no lifetime upload cap.
Can I password-protect a link or stop sharing after I hit send?
You can stop sharing any transfer on any plan at once: delete it from My transfers and the link dies immediately. Password-protected links, custom expiration dates and one-click recovery for expired links are included on Plus and Pro. That gives you full control over an online large file transfer, from the first share to the last download.
